Let’s face it: we’ve all been there. You’re scrolling through Instagram, minding your own business, when suddenly you’re hit with a barrage of perfectly curated lives. There’s an influencer doing yoga on a cliff in Bali at sunrise, a celebrity flaunting their 12-pack abs (because 6 is so last year), and someone else casually sipping a $50 smoothie that promises to make you immortal. Meanwhile, you’re sitting on your couch in sweatpants that haven’t seen the inside of a washing machine since 2019, eating a Pop-Tart you found at the bottom of your purse. And then it happens. That little voice in your head whispers, “Why isn’t my life like that?” Stop. Right. There. Comparing yourself to influencers and celebrities is like comparing your cat to a unicorn.
